    Organizational Overview & History

Invicta Child Foundation was established in Nairobi in 2014 by Stanley Wanga and a coalition of educators, health professionals, and community leaders alarmed by the persistent challenges faced by vulnerable children. Early interventions in Kisumu, Nakuru, and Mombasa offered literacy camps, nutrition support, and child protection workshops. Despite initial impact, funding constraints led to a hiatus in 2019.

In October 2025, the organization is back with a new project. This project will establish a network of accessible libraries (fixed school libraries, community branch libraries, and mobile libraries) and provide trained volunteers and hired tutors to support learners with guided study sessions, homework help, reading clubs and remedial support. The initiative targets children aged 5-18, with special focus on low-income and underserved communities.
