The Family Justice Center (the Center) is a warm and welcoming one-stop Center for people affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, child abuse, and human trafficking. By locating many service providers in one place, the Center helps people in crisis to find hope, safety, and healing through a single door.
When survivors of family violence seek help, they are often frustrated by a fractured system. They may have to travel to multiple locations and tell their story repeatedly. National estimates show that victims may access as many as 32 different agencies for assistance. These hurdles can discourage their efforts, and cause many people to simply stop seeking help. The Center brings multiple partners, both public and community-based, to provide holistic services to victims of interpersonal violence.
