Son Care Foundation

Our mission is fostering hope, empowering, and saving lives with practical mentorship and the healing power of the human-canine bond. 

We have multiple programs, including Alpha Academy, Gentle Touch Pet Training, Mission Cars, New Life K9s, and Thousand Hills Pet Resort.

Alpha Academy provides mentoring to men ages 18-25 who need help building a plan for their life to be successful in their identity, relationships, and faith.

Gentle Touch Pet Training provides dog training to the public, ranging from basic obedience to feisty fidos, agility, and nose work. Classes are offered free of charge to a limited number of Veterans in the community. All proceeds support the nonprofit programs.

Mission Cars manages vehicle donations for multiple nonprofits in the community. Donated vehicles are fixed up and sold. 100% of the profits go to local nonprofits.

New Life K9s provides free, highly trained psychiatric service dogs to veterans and first responders with PTSD. The dogs are trained in California State Prisons through a rehabilitation program benefiting incarcerated men.

Thousand Hills Pet Resort provides the public with pet daycare, boarding, and grooming. Discounts are given to Veterans and First Responders. All profits from this program benefit the other programs we offer the community.
