Misión
THRU Project's mission is help youth overcome the challenges of growing up in the foster care system by providing guidance, support and advocacy in order to prepare them for life after foster care.
Acerca de
THRU Project matches current and former foster youth, 16 and older, with a volunteer Advisor (mentor) to help guide and support them as they learn to live indpendently from foster care. Advisors meet with their youth at least once a month and text/call/message with them 2-3 times per month. Advisors help youth navigate their resources and advocate for them when needed but, most important, they let these young men and women know they are not alone duringt this critical time.
Learn how just a little of your time each month can make a life long difference to a youth leaving foster care.
