Slideluck is a NY-based international arts non-profit (501c3) that aims to build and strengthen community around food and art. Recently named as one of the "NewYork100" most innovative, rule-breaking, model-changing, ideas to come out of the Big Apple, we operate multimedia slideshows and potluck dinners in about fifty cities globally -- from Sao Paulo, to Stockholm, to San Francisco. A very diverse range of work is presented; from portraiture, to reportage, to abstract painting, to fashion and fine art photography, and each artist is given up to five minutes. Past contributors include: The Guggenheim Foundation, Chuck Close, Spencer Tunick, Elliott Erwitt, Shepard Fairey, Edward Burtynsky, Gregory Crewdson, Elinor Carucci and Martin Parr.
