Hit the Books

Hit the Books (“HTB”) is a non-profit charitable organization focused on the development of at-risk youths in the New York City area. HTB provides after school boxing classes, educational programs, and mentorship in order to help kids progress outside of the classroom physically, intellectually, and emotionally. HTB hopes to expose its students to educational and professional opportunities that may otherwise pass them by, fostering an environment of educational equality. In addition to enhancing the educational resources available to impacted communities, Hit the Books hopes to develop into a community within a community where children feel safe and view the gym as a second home.
