We are the Wisconsin Chapter of the Sierra Club, a national environmentally focused non-profit founded in 1892 by John Muir. As the oldest and largest environmental organization in the nation, we are dedicated to exploring, enjoying and protecting our planet. With over 60,000 members and supporters in Wisconsin, we work to protect clean air and water, stop destructive mining, move beyond oil, protect and fund equitable transportation, stop tar sands pipelines, move beyond coal to clean energy, and protect our native forests and wildlife, all through a lens of environmental equity, inclusion, and justice.
