Adventure House (Cleveland Psychosocial Services, Inc.)

The members and staff at Adventure House are the families that many of us have lost. There is a sense of togetherness where members are treated with respect and dignity as individuals. Adventure House is a place where members leave to go out into the world with confidence and know they can always return.

Friendship, employment, self-reliance, and a sense of responsibility and purpose are only a dream for most people with mental illness. However, the relationships developed between members and staff allow one to see beyond any illness, to envision a future. Each new interaction is a step closer to independence.

At Adventure House, each member has a contribution to make. We rely on the member's talents and skills to operate the Clubhouse. Members volunteer to work within the Clubhouse, side by side with staff. Like all friends and family, we find strength and support in each other. Together, we face the challenges of daily life and work, and gain acceptance in the world!
