First Light Community

Founded in 1974, First Light Community of Mobile is a community where people with and without intellectual disabilities share life together. We have 6 homes and an Activity Center located in the Midtown area of Mobile, AL, where we provide homes and support for our 25 Core Members (individuals with an intellectual disability). Our mission is to provide a family-like environment for our Core Members, building relationships of mutual trust and a sense of home in a place where they can live their whole lives.
