The housing programs of Jerusalem House do more for individuals and families than simply provide homes. In addition to homelessness, poverty and HIV/AIDS, many residents struggle with substance abuse, or have experienced domestic violence and mental health issues. Our staff individually tailors programs with each resident so he/she will have the opportunity to chart a path to recovery at the pace that fits his/her situation. All residents have access to vital supportive services provided by our staff members and collaboratively through 20+ formal partnerships with other Atlanta agencies. Examples of services include case management and counseling, education, budgeting classes, job training, HIV/AIDS specific services, and food/clothing assistance.
