Be The Helping Hands that Feed Thousands of Children

Give, Laugh, Groove is a two-day event built on charity, comedy and music taking place July 14 – 15, 2014 at the Green Building, 452 Union St. Brooklyn, NY 11231, created by JP Bouvet and Drew Moore. We are fundraising to feed starving children and villages around the world through our partner Feed My Starving Children – a Minnesota based, Christian non-profit organization committed to feeding children around the world by shipping hand-packed meals to over 70 countries worldwide.

During this two-day event, FMSC will be facilitating the meal-packing portion with their highly efficient meal packing trucks and system. Our goal is to pack 200,000 meals within two days. More than 1,000 volunteers will come together to pack the meals over the course of seven two-hour meal-packing sessions during the event.

Throughout the event there will be live music performed by drummer JP Bouvet and bassist Drew Moore. In the process, they will be setting a world record for longest live duo performance! There will be no breaks in their performance from 6am, July 14 to 10pm, July 15.

At 8:30 pm each night, after meal packing has ended, doors will open for a performance by one of the world’s most popular comedians, Bill Burr, and local opener, James Smith. All the proceeds from ticket sales will go directly toward our goal of $44,000 to fund the ingredients used in the meal packing.

Give Laugh Groove will be hosting a silent auction featuring Art, Photography and more! Art includes works by New York City’s Tanya Gosh and others!

This monumental, groundbreaking, meal packing, charity donating, record-setting, groove-making, volunteer fueled event will be documented and released for the world to see and re-live. Give Laugh Groove is the first event to seamlessly bring Charity, Comedy and Music together, in the pursuit of giving. We gladly invite you and/or your organization to be apart of this new era in coming together for Charity and Community. Every dollar and helping hand helps us reach our goal and feeds another soul.
