Pilgrims' Inn
Misión
Acerca de
In 1981 Tricia Kuhlkin founded Pilgrims’ Inn with a borrowed office, $200.00 in her pocket and a determination to help those in need with an atmosphere of respect and genuine affection. We serve our community through the Dorothy Bing Inn, a temporary shelter for women and children, the Tricia's Court apartments, 10 apartments for transitional housing and housing for individuals with severe mental health diagnoses, the Open Arms Child Support Center, an affordable child care center for children six months to four years old, and the emergency assistance food pantry. Our shelter can house up to 6 single women and 3 families at any one time and provides housing, job training, and educational support for 90 days. Our food pantry serves roughly 500 families per month, giving out 150 to 200,000 pounds of food per year.
