Better Life Vietnam

Better Life Vietnam (BLV) is a non-profit organization working to improve the lives of people facing poverty in Vietnam. BLV was founded with the belief that access to education, healthcare, food, and a decent quality of life are basic human rights. Since 2013, BLV has focused on improving education conditions for the underprivileged children. Our current projects include Free textbooks libraries and Scholarship for underprivileged children in rural areas of Vietnam. Our goal for the next five years is to continue to expand our work to help the underprivileged children and youth have access to better education and employment opportunities

In order to sustain our non-profit work, We have recently launched a social enterprise–Tours for Books, which is independent but complementary to the existing non profit - Better Life Vietnam. The focus of the social enterprise will be in line with that of BLV – to drive development and education in specific poor regions of Vietnam.The profits generated by the social enterprise are to be entirely reinvested in voluntourism and other business activities in order to foster education, generate employment opportunities, encourage tourism, and in general drive some degree of development to targeted regions.
