Highland Park Peace Project works to reduce gun violence by holding the broader business ecosystem behind civilian assault weapons accountable. Rather than focusing only on manufacturers, the organization identifies and publicly tracks the financial, legal, retail, and supply chain partners that enable assault weapon production and sales. Through research, transparency tools, and procurement advocacy, HPPP empowers governments, institutions, and consumers to direct resources away from companies that support assault weapons and toward those that do not, disrupting the systems that perpetuate mass shootings in the United States.
