Choice Food Program - Mitzvah Food Project

The Choice Food Program at the Klein Jewish Community Center (JCC) is more than a choice food pantry. Clients are given the opportunity to choose the foods that will best fit their preferences, nutritional needs and medical conditions using a computer program with a live inventory of items. With the support of a qualified staff and improved social service assistance, this Choice Food Program can also help clients in making healthy lifestyle choices through nutrition education and connection to critical support. It is our hope that this warm environment will provide clients with the opportunity to develop or regain a sense of their own self-worth and dignity.
