Best Buddies Connecticut

Best Buddies demonstrates its mission through six separate and distinct programs. Best Buddies Middle and High Schools matches students with intellectual disabilities with their non-disabled peers in one-to-one friendships through chapter activities within the schools. Best Buddies Colleges pairs up college students with persons with intellectual disabilities in the community for friendship and socialization. Best Buddies Jobs trains and prepares persons with intellectual disabilities for white collar employment. Best Buddies Citizens matches people with intellectual disabilities with volunteers from the community in one-to-one friendships. Our latest program, e-buddies bridges the technological divide for persons with and without intellectual disabilities by providing an online penpal in another geographic location.
