American Red Cross - North Mississippi Chapter

The mission of the American Red Cross is to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

The Red Cross hopes to turn compassion into action so that:

1)All people affected by disasters across the country and around the world receive care, shelter, and hope.

2)Our communities are ready and prepared for disasters.

3)Everyone in our country has access to safe, lifesaving blood and blood products.

4)All members of our armed services and their families find support and comfort whenever needed.

5)And, in an emergency, there are always trained people nearby ready to save lives.
