Canyon Home Health and Hospice of St George

Our mission is to deliver the best home-based care for our patients: whether it is recovery and rehabilitation, care focused on chronic disease empowerment, palliative care for those with a terminal illness or hospice care at the end of life or pediatric care for the medically dependent.

We seek volunteers who embody our desire to serve our clients with quality and compassionate care. We like to focus on bringing quality time to the twilight days of a person's life. We invite volunteers who are background checked to come into the lives of our patients to provide companionship and comfort. Reading, talking, becoming friendly support, playing a card game or taking down some family histories are great ways to provide companionship to people who might otherwise have no one to visit or whose family may be thousands of miles away. These things are our priority. We want to bring dignity to someone's end days, help them feel loved and not forgotten. That is why volunteers are so important. We want to celebrate a life well-lived and create memories for families and the patient when possible. People matter. Volunteers are the life blood of our organization!
