The Denver Children’s Choir (DCC) believes that music unites inspires, and changes children’s lives and in doing so can change Denver communities. Its comprehensive choral music education program has brought Denver children ages 7-18 together in a nurturing and inclusive environment since 1995. DCC firmly believes that participation in its choral music ensembles provide a much needed and meaningful shared experiences and sense of belonging to each young participant. These opportunities allow children to directly connect with each other, celebrating differences, while learning music literacy. There are currently 350 kids in 15 choir ensembles across Denver. No child is turned away due to inability to pay. Nearly 60% of choir participants are children of color.
