The Kgosi Neighbourhood Foundation was founded in 2004 with a mission to bring educational light into the lives of vulnerable children in the Jeppestown/ Belgravia neighbourhood and its surrounding communities.
Its first initiative, the Wings of Hope pre-school, provided members of the local community with excellent pre-school education to ensure school readiness, and academic success in the years that followed. The Foundation has now assisted 413 students and their parents, providing education, advocacy and compassionate care to those in need.
KNF is now working to empower the parents of the preschool children through education and job creation programs.
