The Art School of Chocolography is a public, 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization founded in 2009. Its mission is to provide opportunities for low-income San Diego public school students to receive extensive entrepreneurship and graphics design training and experience. In Gallup Poll surveys, between 60% and 70% of youth say they are interested in a business. However, 85% of students said they had been taught “practically nothing about” business (W.K. Kellogg Foundation Survey). The Art School of Chocolography helps youth who want to build entrepreneurial and career skills succeed. Students design, market and sell chocolate products they create.
