Boston Building Resources - Reuse Center

Our mission is to be the place for homeowners and renovators to make a positive impact on their communities and the environment as they care for and improve their homes.

We pursue our mission in a variety of ways:

• We provide high value/affordable building materials: new materials from our member-owned co-op specializing in kitchens, windows, doors, weatherization materials, and green products; and donated materials from our Reuse Center.
• We offer additional benefits to low- and moderate-income homeowners and nonprofits so they can repair and care for their homes and buildings affordably.
• We benefit the environment by diverting reusable materials from landfills and by providing energy-efficient, water-saving, and environmentally friendly materials.
• We provide hands-on workshops, expert advice, and technical assistance. We offer a “fair shake” regardless of one’s need or experience level, making sure that customers receive the information and materials they need to complete their projects successfully.
