To Foster the Joy and Understanding of Music

The Brattleboro Music Center offers people of all ages the chance to not only appreciate music, but to learn, play and express themselves. The BMC consists of numerous performance, participation, and education programs.

The BMC goals are:

1. Musical instruction and performances of high quality from a range of historical traditions
2. A strong, diverse music community in which opportunities exist to make music together in a wide range of genres and levels of skill
3. Reasonable access to participation in all aspects of the BMC regardless of age, finances, physical challenges, educational level, and ethnic or cultural background
4. Active participation in, and support for, a vital community of social and arts organizations
