The Center for Academic Community Engagement (ACE) is housed at Siena College and focuses on developing long-term, developmental, and sustainable campus-community partnerships in the Capital Region of New York. ACE has a variety of programs that engage Siena students, faculty, and staff, as well community members ranging in ages highschool through post-college. Our programs include:
- AmeriCorps VISTA Fellows Program- intensive full-time year long postgraduate national/federal volunteer program funded by AmeriCorps
- Bonner Service Leaders- four year direct service and capacity building academic scholarship program
- Community Engaged Teaching and Learning (CETL)- integrates service and academic pursuits through partnerships among faculty, community partners, and students
- Community Policy Institute (CPI)- community policy research and consulting fellowship
- Dake Family/Stewart's Shops Fellows- one to two year undergraduate and postgraduate community-based research fellowship
- Global Service Internship (GSI)- intensive full-time five week international development service internship
- Nonprofit EXcellence and Transformation (NEXT)- nonprofit business consulting fellowship
- Partnering Leaders and Youth (PLAY)- direct service, athletic team-based internship that connects athletes and youth through the power of sport
- Summer Service Scholars (SSS)- intensive full-time nine week direct service and capacity building internship program open to students and postgraduates from across the country
