The Pinwheel Project is dedicated to providing practical help and emotional support to hospitalized children. Most important to us is giving them a reason to smile. Our programs include furnishing our participating hospitals with a toy cabinet for patients to use and sending monthly packages of products to entertain the kids. Another program offers a generous budget to Bone Marrow Transplant patients so they may choose things that will bring them comfort and distraction during their 4+ weeks of isolation and we also provide parents in need with meal vouchers to cover the cost of their own meals. Everything is given at no charge to patients, their families or any of the 16 hospitals we serve.
