Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

    Acerca de

Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho was created May 1, 2007. Our council serves the area from the three northeastern counties of Oregon to the Canadian border, and from Montana to the east slopes of the Cascade Mountains.

Headquartered in Spokane, Washington, GSEWNI also has service centers in Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene, and Lewiston, Idaho and in Richland (Tri-Cities) Wash.

The Council serves more than 8,000 girls and 2,500 adult volunteers. Girls are guided by committed, caring adults who make learning fun. No other activity helps each girl achieve her personal leadership pathway like Girl Scouting. Girl Scouts has been the nation's leading expert on girls for nearly 100 years.

In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Through a myriad of enriching experiences, such as extraordinary field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships, girls grow courageous and strong. Girl Scouting helps girls develop their full individual potential; relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound decision-making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others.
