Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy

Acerca de

Medical errors are the third leading cause of death in the country. The Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy was founded in 1996 to empower patients and their families to be active members of their healthcare teams.

We use the stories and experiences of patients and their families, as well as information and research distributed by nationally recognized patient safety organizations, to educate and advocate for safe care. Pulse workshops and community programs were developed with national and local leaders in patient safety. Participants often share health care experiences which Pulse uses to findsolutions and make improvements through educational programs.

Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy (Pulse CPSEA) is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 community-based organization dedicated to raising awareness about patient safety through advocacy, education and support.

Pulse CPSEA envisions a world in which the patient’s voice is heard and no one is harmed by healthcare.
