The Neighborhood Care Team, Inc., of Queens county is a community based organization dedicated to and effective at providing services to men and women with Neuro-biological brain disorder (SMI):

to that end the Neighborhood Care Team has an obligation to develop and cultivate a Supported Housing program that embraces the following basic beliefs: 10 Culturally diverse men and women with Neuro-biological brain disorders (SMI) can recover and become productive citizens. 2) The opportunity to live independently is a central principle of the rehabilitation process; it is a vital element leading to higher self-esteem promoting self-reliance and growth 3) Diverse and positive social, educational and recreational experiences are vital to successfully re-enter and assimilation into the community.

The Neighborhood Care Team, Inc., provides access to safe and accessible supportive housing throughout the south eastern Queens communities.
