The Summerhill Neighborhood Development Corporation exists to preserve, protect, and strengthen the cultural and economic legacy of our community by empowering residents, advancing equitable development, and ensuring that growth benefits those who call Summerhill home.

The Summerhill Neighborhood Development Corporation is a community-rooted organization dedicated to preserving the history, culture, and long-term stability of one of Atlanta’s most historic Black neighborhoods. We serve longtime residents, families, and local stakeholders by creating pathways for them to remain, thrive, and shape the future of their community. Through advocacy, equitable development initiatives, resource coordination, and community-led programming, we work to ensure that growth in Summerhill reflects the voices, needs, and legacy of the people who have built it. Our work centers on protecting cultural identity, expanding access to opportunity, and strengthening the systems that allow residents to build generational stability in place.
