    The Sisters of Providence Health System continues the healing misistry of Jesus in the world of today, with specail concern for those who are poor and vulnerable. Working with others in a spirit of loving service, we strive to meet the health needs of people as they journey through life.

    The Providence Benedictine Nursing Center was orginally founded by the Benedictine Sisters of Mt. Angel in 1955 as the Benedictine Village. Today, the Center operates a 50 unit Personalized Living Center as well as the Nursing Center, Rehabilitation Unit, Child Development Center, Out-Patient Therapy Clinic, In-Home Care, and a Home Health Agency.
