  • Misión

    Clackamas Dogs Foundation (CDF) is a non-profit organization founded in 2012 to promote the health and well being of dogs and people through supporting the educational and public service activities and programs of Clackamas County Dog Services.

    Acerca de

    The Foundation supports several PETS areas include:

    Prevention efforts with low-income spay/neuter clinics, emergency and disaster planning support, and participation in outreach events.

    Education to foster the human/pet bond through pet adoptions, responsible ownnership classes, and animal safety on the road with the Don't Forget, Buckle Your Pet campaign.

    Training and behavior modifications classes for dogs.

    Support of core services such as the care of sick and injured dogs, licensing, and reuniting lost dogs with their owners.

    Current initiatives supported by the Foundation include an animal Spay and Neuter program for low-income dog owners, an enhanced volunteer program to transition more dogs out of the shelter into loving homes, and several partnerships which bring donated food and support into the Center.

    Volunteers can be hands-on with dogs, or support animal welfare through other roles such as being a board member, grant writer, etc.
