Misión
Because the visible presence of undisturbed nature is profoundly good for us as individuals and as a community, we want to: 1- Carefully and thoughtfully preserve some of the remaining forested areas, both public and private, in Cary and 2- Increase our canopy cover to at least 50% through that preservation and the proper planting and care of new trees.
Acerca de
Keep the Canopy is a group of citizens who prize Cary's trees and natural forested areas. We are building a network of like-minded people with the professional skills needed to interact with Cary's business community and government to establish and sustain an "urban forest".
