BRIDGE HOUSE INC

Bridge House provides a refuge from social isolation for approximately 225 active members. Bridge House’s education, employment and housing assistance programs provide important avenues for reintegration with the community.

Supported Education - The specific objectives of the Supported Education program are to (1) provide core Supported Education services to members interested in enrollment in college or vocational training programs, (2) utilize virtual platforms to reach, support and assist members in meeting their education goals, (3) assist students to overcome barriers that result in dropping out of school, and (4) increase post-graduation employment rates for program participants.

Employment - Bridge House, like all Clubhouses, provides an array of specific employment strategies (Transitional, Supported and Independent Employment), that provide various levels of support for members as they return to work and for community-based employer partners. Our employment programs have been recognized by the United States Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration as an evidence based and effective program. Clubhouses such as Bridge House continually have employment outcomes that meet or exceed top performing vocational rehabilitation programs while also providing many other needed social services.
