BASICS International is a registered 501 (C) (3) not for profit organization in the USA, and NGO in Ghana, West Africa. We are committed to fighting child labor/ abuse/ trafficking/ illiteracy/ hunger and helping to improve the quality of Life and the environment for people; in particular women and children living in unsafe environments and engaging in harmful activities which hinder their developmental growth, health and helping mitigate the traumatic impact of poverty on women and children. With over 200 children, our mission is to protect the basic human rights of children to education, shelter, food and safety. Our implemented comprehensive, holistic and systematic poverty intervention programs targets both in-school and out-of-school children.
