Restoring Hope first opened its doors in 2017 for victims of Hurricane Harvey, where it aided more than 7,000 neighbors. Its available-to-all services were highlighted in a Today Show feature with Al Roker.
The crisis identified a significant local Hispanic population that has remained largely underrepresented and underserved in area community assistance programs. To continue to meet unmet community needs after Harvey, Restoring Hope moved forward with a mission to serve others with basic human necessities such as food assistance, Veterans Program, and partial financial assistance. Our Food Pantry serves ALL of the Houston Area with emergency food services.
