Habitat for Humanity Freeborn/Mower builds decent, affordable, simple houses for God's children who by conventional means cannot afford a home. We build houses in the Mower/Freeborn counties with partner families. We provide a new home for a 30 year, no interest mortgage, built by all volunteer labor and discounted building supplies. The home owner has to put in a specified amount of "sweat equity" (depending on the size of the family) and meet specific income guidelines to qualify for a home.
