American Foundation for Suicide Prevention - Northern California

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is committed to advancing our knowledge of suicide and our ability to prevent it. AFSP is the only national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to funding scientific and medical research; developing prevention initiatives; and offering educational programs and conferences for survivors, mental health professionals, physicians and the public. The AFSP Northern California Chapter is a registered division foundation; we provide information about regional suicide prevention activities in the San Francisco Bay Area, offer tools for learning about suicide prevention, and connect suicide survivors and others in the San Francisco bay area.
