Reaching Heights

Reaching Heights taps the energy, skills, optimism and financial resources of our residents, alumni, local businesses and organizations, and foundations in order to invigorate public support for our public schools.

Through the combined efforts of the Reaching Heights staff, board of trustees, members and volunteers Reaching Heights:

• Supports teacher collaboration and innovation by offering grants to teachers, staff, and parent teams for innovative projects that help students excel.
• Fosters an atmosphere of appreciation for the unique contributions of educators.
• Connects the community with its school.
• Celebrates public education, builds community and raises private resources to support excellence in the classroom.
• Promotes greater understanding of the programs within our schools, and important education issues affecting our district by issuing reports and holding public forums.
