Nature Discovery Center

The Nature Discovery Center is an urban nature center located in a 4-acre nature park dedicated to igniting lifelong curiosity, understanding and respect for nature.

The Nature Discovery Center is located in a renovated 1925 house in the 4-acre Russ Pitman Park. It offers a friendly, informal atmosphere for discovering the world of nature. The Center's 2 Discovery Rooms intrigue visitors with a variety of live animals, specimens, activities and exhibits geared for children from 3 - 13 and their families. the grounds include picnic areas, playground, trails andbenches. It is a great place for birding and urban wildlife watching.
