Inspiring Minds NYC

Inspiring Minds (IM) engages, inspires, and empowers youth to reach their full potential through culturally responsive programs and exposure to life-changing experiences. High school youth participate in a leadership model that includes programs that focus on Rites of Passage, Health & Wellness & Civic Engagement. Participants also receive opportunities to go on college tours and receive paid internships.

IM is a ground-up model that believes that youth excel when they are served by multiple stakeholders from their community through culturally responsive programs and experiences. Starting in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn in 2019, IM has quickly expanded to serving 7 Title 1 high schools and over 200 high schools students in underserved communities in Brooklyn.
