Safe Families for Children New York City

Safe Families for Children is part of a national movement that creates extended family-like

support for families through a community of devoted volunteers motivated by compassion to

keep children safe and families intact. Our vision is to create a world where children are safe

and families are transformed through radically compassionate communities.

Parenting is hard work. It’s even more difficult when you feel alone, encounter obstacles, and lack a strong support system. At Safe Families NYC, we believe that connecting parents with vetted volunteers will help them safely establish a community that offers support, hope and belonging. By investing in the lives of parents, we are also investing in their children, sowing the seeds of transformational, generational changes.
