The Avenue 50 Studio is a 22-year non-profit arts presentation organization grounded in the Latinx/Chicanx community that believes in building bridges of communication between and amongst cultures. We host monthly exhibitions in 3 in house exhibition galleries. We also host 2 monthly poetry readings: La Palabra Poetry and The Intelligent Beast. Our focus is on social justice issues and the Latinx/Chicanx community, but we welcome all cultures and races. Avenue 50 Studio's Founder and Director is Kathleen Gallegos, a Governor Brown two term appointee to the California Arts Council.
