IN FLIGHT INC

In Flight, Inc. was founded in 1993 as a MSC (Medicaid Service Coordination Agency). Shortly after, In Flight, Inc. opened its Edith Avenue IRA (Individualized Residential Alternative) to provide services for intellectually and developmentally disabled (IDD) adults in a residential setting. Over the next 16 years, six additional IRAs were opened in Ulster and Columbia counties, as well as a Day Habilitation Program in Catskill, New York in Greene County.

In Flight Inc continues significant growth, and more importantly, focused on developing person-centered programming as a participating agency within the transformation agenda of the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). To this end, and being awarded a BIP (Balanced Initiative) Grant, In Flight, Inc. initiated the "In Flight Success Academy for Independent Living" (ISAIL), a comprehensive education and vocational training center to support folks transitioning into less restrictive environments. Around this same time, In Flight, Inc. became an accredited Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) agency, after an arduous 18 months of preparation and cultural transformation.

During 2017, In Flight, Inc. joined forces with Hudson Valley Service Providers LLC (HVSP), an association of 22 agencies across the Hudson Valley. As a founding member and equity partner of HVSP, In Flight, Inc. participated in the start-up and launching of LifePlan CCO LLC. , to comply with New York state regulations on assuring conflict-free Medicaid Service Coordination.
