About the New Africa Fund (NAF): The NAF is a US charity founded in 2021 and is committed to supporting civil society organizations and social enterprises in Africa. We work through local partners by providing financial and technical support to organizations with a clear mission and established results. The NAF has grantees all over Africa and runs a girls scholarship program in Togo.
Our development model is based on the idea of Venture Philanthropy. We do not finance projects; we look at the organizations themselves. We give these growing organizations the short term boost they need to achieve long term viability.
