Holy Redeemer Hospice

As a Catholic Health System, rooted in the tradition of the Sisters of the Holy Redeemer, we Care, Comfort and Heal following the example of Jesus, proclaiming the hope God offers in the midst of human struggle.

Holy Redeemer Health System is a community based integrated health and social service delivery system sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Redeemer. In a caring and compassionate manner, we will create innovative programs and services to enable people to live their lives to the fullest, while exceeding the expectations of all we serve. This will be accomplished by excelling at partnering and using resources effectively.

The Holy Redeemer Hospice Volunteer Program exists to support and expand the services provided to Holy Redeemer Hospice patients and their caregivers by the professional staff. Patient volunteers provide a social component which can normalize the experience and bolster the emotional support of both family and patient at this vulnerable time when illness can be an isolating factor. Office volunteers provide much needed assistance with mailings, records and other clerical responsibilities, freeing up additional time for staff to provide direct patient care.
