Montgomery Therapeutic Recreation

It is the mission of the Montgomery Therapeutic Recreation Center (MTRC) to provide therapeutic recreation opportunities for all individuals of all ages and disabilities in a community setting. MTRC will offer programs with therapeutic values to allow individuals with disabilities to participate in a variety of recreation and leisure opportunities. MTRC will enhance the leisure lifestyles and the social environment people with disabilities. MTRC will foster a supportive and accessible environment to allow full participation and promote independence. MTRC will collaborate with other agencies and professionals to achieve its goals and objectives.

Montgomery Therapeutic Recreation Center (MTRC) is a community based facility that serves individuals with disabilities. MTRC consists of the following departments: Adapted Sports, Aquatics, Creative Arts, General Recreation, Resource Lab and Special Events. We offer a variety of programs in the above departments: Wellness (Fitness Center, Aquatic Exercise, Land Based Aerobics, etc..), After School Programs (Horticulture, Sports Tournaments, Horseback Riding, and many more).
