ON THE HOUSE CHARITY INC

On The House Charity's (OTH) mission is to help the less fortunate in our community while empowering the youth in our community to give back. This nonprofit was founded with the idea of making it easy and fun for my peers to give back to our community. The main goal of an On The House Charity is to spread more awareness and support for underprivileged individuals and empower my peers to make a difference through something they are passionate about. On The House Charity would has many hands on service opportunities and events for students to help support less fortunate individuals in their community. Some of the events OTH actively organizes include directly feeding the homeless, preparing meals, household good drives, bike rides for the homless, etc. On The House Charity also has many opportunities for students to volunteer with community service activities directly related to their passion. For example: On The House Charity has spoken to organizations which rehabilitate homeless families about students volunteering to teach children living in their facility, extra curricular activities which the student volunteering has experience with and is passionate about. We already have had volunteers ranging from a variety of different ages and areas.
