We have an incredible opportunity to make a life changing impact for Seniors in your local community! Did you know that according to the Census Bureau, the 65+ population was the fastest growing demographic from 2010-2019, increasing 34.2% nationally and 48.4% in Arizona!? With the population aging rapidly both nationally and locally, so is the need for volunteers like you!

The YMCA Outreach Program for Aging Seniors is a community effort offering FREE support services for seniors and their caregivers in need. Services are provided by wonderful community volunteers. The objective is to meet the needs of the growing senior population here in the Valley, with thegoal of enabling seniors to maintain independent living in their own homes.

Y OPAS started in 2001 in Ahwatukee, and is now expanding in collaboration with Duet and Benevilla to also serve central Phoenix, Scottsdale, and the West Valley. Volunteers have the flexibility to sign up any time or day of the week, and as often as desired, with each service typically lasting up to 1-1.5 hours maximum. The need is ongoing, and we need YOU!
