Changing Our Tomorrows

We're educating children and empowering women to create conditions for sustainable change in the U.S. and around the world. 

* In Liberia, we built a school in the remote village of Bopolu that now has over 240 children attending in a country where only about 41% of children ever go to school, and most of them live in large cities.  We're now funding the operation of the school and paying the tuition for each child to attend.  

* We've made over 80 micro-loans to women in 25 different countries through KIVA to help them establish or expand a business, or to obtain a higher education. 

* We also address food insecurity in the U.S. and overseas by either helping to fund the efforts of groups such as Backpack Buddies and Empty Bowls, or by participating directly in efforts by local nonprofits, such as the Salvation Army, to feed the homeless and those in need. 

* We recently became a fund-raising participant for THON to help fight pediatric cancer.
