Mayflower RSVP, Inc.

Mayflower RSVP engages citizen volunteers in alliance with service partner organizations to improve lives in our local communities. We provide recruitment, screening, and referral of prospective volunteers to our service partners, and support volunteers age 55 or older enrolled in RSVP with Personal Injury, Personal Liability, and Excess Auto Liability Insurance protection while they volunteer. Volunteer service hours and their impact are regularly monitored and reported to our funding sources: Corporation for National & Community Service, United Way of Greater Plymouth County, and hundreds of individual donors. We regularly honor community volunteers who have given more than 4,000 hours of service over their lifetime as a credentialing organization for the Presidential Lifetime of Service Awards. Our program has served the residents of Plymouth County, Massachusetts since 1973, mobilizing approximately 3,200 RSVP Volunteers and more than 100 different public or private, non-profit organizations.
